Title VI Program
The City of Miramar is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participating in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance, on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or family or religious status, consistent with the Title VI Civic Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 and the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992. As such, the City of Miramar has adopted the City of Miramar Title VI Program. The Program details policies and procedure, including key contacts, for ensuring Title VI compliance.
The City of Miramar values diversity and welcomes input from all interested parties, regardless of cultural identity, background or income level. The City believes that the best programs and services result from careful consideration of the needs of all of its communities and from when those communities are involved in the transportation decision-making process. Thus, the City does not tolerate discrimination in any of its programs, services or activities.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) provides civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities like those provided to individuals on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age and religion. The ADA guarantees equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities in public accommodations, employment, transportation, State and local government services and telecommunications.
Title II ADA Non-Discrimination Statement
The City of Miramar prohibits discrimination in all services, programs or activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, religion or genetic information.
